Could someone tell me why my files do not move up in the list towards the front when I'm updating my walls, I checked the reset update box, and it's not working at least not all the time it worked for one. It wouldn't bother me if I was just putting the original file back up, but I've redone all these pieces with new work and legitamte updates, and don't want them burried 200 pages back where no one will see them.

My guess is that since all the files are being 'updated' the system has no idea whether yours are revised ones or just reuploaded ones.

If you really need them to be seen as new updates rather than restored database updates then I'd hold off uploading revised files until everything else is back as usual....

hey btw does anyone have a rough estimate on when things will be back to norm, I thought they were supposed to be around or before thanks giving?

The backup of everything prior to October 1....which is the vast majority of the database is one or two weeks away, I believe......supposedly we are only supposed to be concentrating on restoring anything uploaded since that date....or at least anything before then is 'safe' anyway, but will be a while coming back online.

But....since I'm on the other side of the world from either server and/or harddrive/s I have about as much certainty as anyone who keeps abreast of the news pages.....[good place to find out things, you know....hence its name]...

Ok, now that the old files have been restored can I update these files and have them be treated as such and put back to the top?

^Thats what I was wondering too.^

At a guess...probably...make sure it's through the normal 'update' button, as heaven knows what the 'help update' thingie would do now...

it's still not working, is it possible for an admin to manually do it, there's only 4 of them
